I’m looking forward to my annual trip to the Twin Cities. This year, I’ll start with two shows in a listening room that’s new to me, Vieux Carré in St. Paul.
I’ll have a killer rhythm section led by pianist Richard Johnson. Bassist Jeremy Boettcher gets better every year and drummer Neil Hemphill is someone I’ve been hearing about, so I’m excited to finally work with him.
These are my last New Orleans Tricentennial themed touring dates for the year.

Pianist Eli Yamin has several reasons to celebrate with a jam session! Not only is he releasing his book, an exciting new education resource, “So You Want to Sing the Blues” but it’s his 50th birthday.
I will be among several guests performing with his trio including the great Catherine Russell. After our program, this all-ages afternoon invites any and all musicians who want to participate.
